We are proud to announce that Puneeth Meruva has been named Partner at Trucks Venture Capital. Puneeth has been responsible for building out much of the inbound process we now use to evaluate new transportation startups.
We first met Puneeth some five years ago when he inquired about an intern position at Trucks during his final term at MIT. That winter he began as an intern, then became an associate, then senior associate and was named Partner in May 2023, concurrent with the launch of our new core fund, Trucks Venture Fund 3 LP.
Puneeth's technical evaluation helped us tremendously as the Trucks inbound pipeline grew. He has championed electric vehicles, micromobility, aviation and aerospace ideas in his time at Trucks and was the main driving champion behind the build-out of our data platform (which we call Trucks Radar). We use it to manage our inbound of startups, now at about 1000 companies per year.
Congratulations to Puneeth and, with that, to the founders that we'll back who are building the future of transportation.
